What is Moto Madness? Why put on this event?

PROBLEM:
Haiti is a challenging place to work and live if you don’t have reliable transportation. The mountainous terrain creates challenges for travel by foot. So much time and energy can be spent by simply walking to work or church or going to get supplies for your family. It's also costly to hire a taxi to get around if you don't have personal means of transportation. It’s especially hard for our leaders to be effective without a reliable way to get to work and serve the community with excellence. 

SOLUTION:
Haiti Bible Mission believes that our Moto Madness campaign can help change lives and communities in Haiti! We have seen it first hand and know what kind of impact even one leader can have when they have a moto bike to get to work and serve the community. Our leaders are regularly taking people to hospital, going to church, taking kids to school, going to work sites and helping get supplies for neighbors, ect. Moto bikes are a game changer for a leader, a family and even the community! Moto Madness is a fun and exciting adventure with a purpose behind it is to help empower a leader.

HOW IT WORKS:
Volunteers raise funds to purchase motos for leaders in the community. They then fly to Haiti for an incredible week of fun and ministry, riding the new bike across the country! At the end of the trip we present leaders with the motos and in doing so, change their lives!

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
As we see how even one leader who gets a moto can bring a huge impact, imagine what Jeremie would look like if we empowered hundreds and even thousands over the next few years.
