March 2025 Updates
Partner Spotlight: Feed My Starving Children
In 2016, Western Haiti was severely impacted by Hurricane Matthew. At the time, Haiti Bible Mission (HBM) was already established in Jérémie, positioning us as a central hub for relief efforts and distribution of essential supplies. We formed strategic partnerships with several organizations, one of the most significant being Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Over the years, our collaboration with FMSC has strengthened, allowing us to distribute MannaPack meals, enabling HBM to provide nourishment to 1,300 individuals daily. Food plays a critical role in addressing both immediate and long-term needs, offering an essential means of support to local communities. This also opens the door for our mission to get into areas that we would most not likely could not if we did not have the food. This helps us build trust and friendships with these zones and leaders while providing opportunities to share the gospel!
In addition to meal distribution, FMSC has sponsored agricultural projects in the Te Wouj region, providing farming resources and goats to help sustain local livelihoods. Their ongoing support has made a substantial impact on our mission and the broader community. The goal is to help this community become self sustaining for the future and set an example of a community working together to create lasting sustainable change!
Recently, Fort Myers Community Church, one of our valued partner churches, organized a MobilePack event. During this event, several members of our staff had the opportunity to participate in assembling MannaPack kits, which will be distributed in Haiti and other countries served by FMSC.
